Latin Name: Kunzea Ambigua
Extraction: Steam distilled from leaves and twigs.
Aroma: Sweet, fresh, somewhat camphoraceous/medicinal scent with a woody/spicy drydown.
BOTANY
Also known as Tick Bush or White Cloud, Kunzea is a flowering shrub native to Australian regions of Tasmania, New South Wales and Victoria. The bush has small dark green leaves with long arching branches and abundant small white flowers.
Kunzea is in the same family as Kanuka.

Robbi Zeck ND, in ‘The Blossoming Heart’ wrote that Kunzea helps diffuse deep emotional pain that has been suppressed and allow one to let go of physical and emotional pain and blockages that negatively affect the body meridians.
Its soothing effect on nerves makes it a great blend to relieve stress, anxiety and promote relaxation.

Kunzea essential oil is approved as a ‘therapeutic’ substance by the Australia Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) for topical use for:
• Relief of nervous tension, stress and mild anxiety.
• Relief of symptoms of flu and cold.
• Relief of muscular aches and pain.
• Relief of pain of rheumatism.
• Relief of pain of arthritis.
• Relief of pain of headaches and migraines.
• Repair of soft tissues injuries such as strains, sprains and bruises.
• Improve skin conditions of eczema, dermatitis, rash, ulcers and recurring shingles.
• Relieve insect bites, cuts, minor burns, swelling and irritation.
• Repel insects and tick.
• Purifying and deodorizing the atmosphere.
Due to its chemical complexity of Kunzea essential oil and many bioactive constituents, it is high capable of multiple modes of action with therapeutic effects in aromatherapy.

Safety: No known safety concerns. Dilute before using. A patch test should be performed before use for those with sensitive skin.

HOW TO USE
Diffuse & Inhale: Breathe in your favorite essential oils using an essential oil/aroma diffuser or personal pocket inhaler.
Apply Topically: This essential oil is 100% pure and undiluted. To apply to the skin, dilute with a high quality carrier oils or Carrier Oils Complex. Refer to our dilution chart. We recommend performing a skin patch test when using a new essential oil topically.
