Aroma: Sweet, floral with Rose and Geranium-like aroma.
BOTANY
The grassy leaves of wild-growing Palmarosa plant are in the same family as Lemongrass and Citronella. Grown across Nepal, India and Pakistan, these tall, aromatic grass has long slender stems and terminal flowering tops.

In other words, pick this oil up if you feel that you are one who is resistant to change. It is a good oil for parents to try on their children with separation anxiety.
Body/Physical:
Palmarosa oil has a strong affinity for the skin. Gently cooling yet with strong anti-viral, anti-fungal and anti-infectious properties, it is effective for treating a range of skin infections, particularly in calming angry or inflamed skin.
It is an excellent skin balancing oil that works very well for both extremely dry and oily skin complexion because it has the ability to balance production of sebum and moisturize or hydrate the skin at the same time to bring about skin elasticity. Due to its ability to stimulate new cells growth, it makes an excellent choice for treating scarring from acne, injury and others.
It is also used as remedy for relieving pain and stiff or sore muscles as it can trigger pathway that reduce pain sensation and reduce the mediators of inflammation.
The oil seems to have a beneficial effect on thyroid hormones and acts as a uterine and vaginal tonic.
SAFETY & SHELF LIFE
Safety: Low risk of skin sensitization. Dilute before using with a maximum dermal use level of 6.5%. However, it may have contraindications with drugs metabolized by CYP2B6. A patch test should be performed before use for those with sensitive skin.
Pregnancy/Nursing: Pregnancy safe and nursing safe.
Precautions: Keep out of reach of children. If pregnant or under a doctor’s care, consult physician. Avoid contact with eyes. Do not use internally unless instructed by a licensed aromatherapist or physician.

HOW TO USE
Diffuse & Inhale: Breathe in your favorite essential oils using an essential oil/aroma diffuser or personal pocket inhaler.
Apply Topically: This essential oil is 100% pure and undiluted. To apply to the skin, dilute with a high quality carrier oils or Carrier Oils Complex. Refer to our dilution chart. We recommend performing a skin patch test when using a new essential oil topically.
